I completely agree with you! Nice observation! Lately, over the last couple of years, I have been noticing this pattern! And have you also been noticing that both winters and summers have been milder? It never gets as hot or as cold as I used to remember, or maybe that's just my own opinion. Do you suppose this could be due to global warming or something?

I agree totally. I live in Orlando now, we have 2 seasons, really hot and perfect. Its always been that way here though.
I am from Chicago and it seems we had an incredibly long winter, more mild than when I was a kid but it lingers longer. Than you have 2 weeks of spring and then, Bam its summer. Than a few short weeks of Autumn and then Bam its winter again. When I was a kid, I remember more distinct seasons, not anymore.

Maybe where YOU live, but in Texas there is only Summer and Autumn (well, it feels like it). I wish it would get really cold here!

A we age we stop looking at the little things in life like the seasons, when we were kids we noticed every little change and weather was talked about more back then, now we get advice from our TVs.

Sort of. Maybe it's different up here in Michigan, though. We also have two seasons, but they're called Winter and Construction.
