-1.0009 > -1.001 > -1.01
why
these are all negative numbers to biggest negative is in fact the lowest number, like owing money, owing more money would be worse.
also the decimals are like fractions
1.01 = 1 + 0.01 = 1 + 1/100
for example there are 100 pennies in 1 dollar,
so 1 penny would be 1/100 of a dollar in value
if we had something worse less then a penny, lets call it a minipenny, and it took 10 minipennies to equal a penny then it would take 1000 minipennies to make 1 dollar
1 dollar = 100 pennies = 1000 minipennies
you can see that minipennies are not worth very much just one minipenny would be 1/1000 of a dollar. you would need to get 999 more minipennies just to have 1 dollar.
so now imagine that .001 means you have one minipenny, and
-.001 means you own somebody a minipenny.
which is worse owing someone a minipenny, or owing someone a 10 minipennies = 1 penny

#1. 1.0009, 1.001, and then 1.01
Look at it this way -
1.1/10 - 1./1000, 1.9000.
#2.
.88 - .88, .888
They are equal -
Divide 22 by 25, divide 8 by 9, and the third is self expanlatory

The first one is similar to the dictionary issue.
Try to order
telephon, television, telefax
So, 1,01, 1,001 and 1,0009 are ordered comparing the digist. Then you have to remember that the negative integers order is different from the positive one
Pick a calculator and calculate the fractions. Then do the same
Ana
Now the second one:
