I know SIMS is supposed to be for Teenagers, but I love it! I have the SIMS 2 and Expansion and have the cheats (LOL) and wondering if I am the only Adult out there! If you LOVE SIMS, WHY? Thanks!

I like the sims and i have the old sims and sims 2 and you are not the only adult who likes the sims a another adult was telling me about the sims and I tired it out I did enjoyed the game and the cheats but i like the new sims because you can do a lot more than the old sims and it is fun to play the game

My sister and I both love playing The Sims 2 and we're both over 30. : )
We both have The Sims 1 & 2 plus all the expansion packs for each.

I love the Sims and retired from medical science. ACTUally, the rating for Teenagers is not with the goal to meet the needs of teens but it is to give a rating like you get when you go to a movie. Just because a movie is rated G, doesn't mean it's for babies and little kids. The T rating just means that the level of maturity is PG rated, but gaming industry uses different rating styles.
I have a hard time finding time to play but when I do, I do all kinds of crazy experiments with the families, using abductions and genetics, and creating weird scenarios.
I have an elder who adopted a child and is helping that child grow up to be a millionaire.
There are lots of challenges. One I am playing is a type of black widow challenge, where a goth woman marries sim after sim and murders each of them and has a child by each. Her goal is to never work a single day in her life, and to choose the richest guys to marry. Her children of course, grow up to be 'black widows' and as long as I'm not tired of the craziness, they spread into the village and take the curse with them. :)

I build weird houses too. Mostly when I game, I am minimalist and just try to get my families up to snuff without cheats. But sometimes I create weird houses, the latest is a treehouse with an elevator that goes up to the first floor (which is in the top of the tree). I've also built underwater houses and waterfalls. Lots of fun. :)

Nope im an adult i own all the sims plus the expansions...
and i own the sims 2 and some expansions

I'm no adult, but I think all ages should enjoy it! It is super super super super fun, and if you go to the official website there are lots of BBSers (aka people who use the boards) that are old, young, or somewhere in the middle! Don't worry! Sim to your heart's content! (till your spine hurts and your eyes get read-I can tell you from experience that this is the time to stop!)

I'm 25 and love the Sims too. I like the cheats where you can have unlimited money and you can build and decorate houses.

My mom loves watching me play it. Do you have Sims2 for ps2? if you do, can they have a baby? I've tried but i dont think they can.
