a DVR is a must! Which Network's DVR is the best? (as far as looks, Hard Drive space, speed...etc.)
(I live in the Chicago land area)

I don't have DVR but I've got DirecTV and I like it... the satellite goes out every once in a while when it rains really hard, but other than that... no complaints
Oh, and I almost forgot, if you like football DirecTV has the only contract to show NFL Sunday Ticket. so you can watch all the games

Depends on what you are looking for. Each have some channels that are only avialable on their service. Log onto both and check out the packages. As far as I can tell, the quality is the same.

do not go to dish i had nothing but problems with them so i canceled them. i have heard direct is better but dish sucks bad. i know from experience

directv.. you have more channel choices, and better quality and customer service, price is about the same
