When I worked, I was genuinely sick so many times that I can honestly say I only faked it once. I called in sick so I could go to a special Mothers and Daughters function with my Mom.
However, I never ever did it while at work so I could go home early!
Now school is another matter entirely...

Tons of times. In middle school my P.E. teacher was a jerk so the period I had before P.E. I would fake a really bad headache. That way I could go home. I have epilepsy so everyone beleived me. I feel bad about it though.

I never had, however I guess it's okay to do it once. That's what your sick time is for and you shouldn't be penalized for using one or two. And it also depends why you wanted to go home. If you did it out of laziness, then that is pretty sad.
