steve irwin's a legend, some feel he had it coming but he's a decent bloke who gave almost all he earned towards animal preservation. he risked death to provide the viewers with great tv and there's not many like him around apart from austin stevens. his knowledge on a variety of animals was vast and he'll be missed by many, even the people who think that they dislike him

Well I never really knew him well but I know he had a mad love for animals like me but I have great respect for him and his family and we should all remember him! It's amazing that he hasn't died from any other crazy thing he has did with some other crazy animal but yet he is killed by a sting ray! It's very heart piercing that he is gone because he loved animals and that was a beautiful thing! CRIKEY! I hope I don't sound corny!!!!

I miss steve so much. I grew up with that dude and it bothers me that people are laughing about his death. Have they no soul? The guy had two kids, I can understand if you dont really care, but to laugh at it? Thats wrong.

The tribute shows are still on and while he was a personality it wil take a while before he can be missed by those people who didnt know him directly.
and considering everything he's done, just be glad he lived as long as he did.

No, I just found his whole persona annoying plus I'm not really into animal shows esp. ones on crocs. Sad thing he died but he did roll the dice a lot really.
