because you like me belong to a group of people who who's tastes do not match those of network executives. I was a huge fan of John Doe, and inturn now watch Prison Break every week.

You need to be objective though,
John Doe suffered because Fox rarely gets behind anything that doesn't go startusphere in the first week.

Birds of Prey operated on the theory that after one dead girlfriend Batman would turn tale and flee Gotham. (Really pisses off fan boys) I liked the show, but would have prefered that they reset the time line to make Batman retired instead of in hiding.

Threshold was just one of many Lost inspired supernatural themed shows that died. Threshold, Surface, and Invasion all sounded alike in the one paragraph TV guide summaries last year at this time its possible that what ever market their was for that style of show was split among the 3 of them. and none made it past season one.

shows get cancelled for many different reasons.

for example, Alias was cancelled because the creator J.J Abrams no longer wanted to divide his time between two shows and other projects.

another reason is because either actors, directors, and writers quit and leave a scar on the set.

however, on most occasions, the studios and networks are responsible for cancelled show. they are not in-tune with what people want to watch. they don't give enough chances for shows to develop and build an acceptable fan base.

anyway, i'm done watching network shows. after alias was cancelled, i gave up faith on regular tv. i am so turned off when you invest time to watch a show every week then it gets cancelled. now i don't watch any series on tv at all (except the Simpsons). the networks don't realize that they are turning away viewers when they do this.

ONLY ONE PERCENT OF THE POPulation are asked in the Nielsons what theyre watching
I liked Strong Medicine, KyleXY, Surface, Invasion and theyre all gond. GHOST WHISPER is ok but Invasion was better...its so weird how they dump the best ones...POLL half the population at least before canning everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
