And the printer is what make and model......? At least give us a hint. You just missed a printer technician that was willing to help but can't cause you gave us nothing to work with in diagnosing your problem.

try the cleaning utility ,to clean print heads
usage ratio for pictures of people / portrait
cyan or blue 33% to 45%
magenta or red 45% to 65%
yellow 25% to 33%
black 33% to 60%
to 10" by 8" print
judging by what you have said ink could be low, but the yellow is 1/2 full

The 680 printer makes use of a three shade multi cartridge and a black. it rather is quite achieveable which you have used all the yellow from the cartridge without the printer telling you the ink is low. Head cleansing many circumstances purely makes use of extra ink from the cartridges and isn't any longer a stable concept.

The other ink cartridges are probably clogged. Run the nozzle check test and you will probably see only yellow on the test pattern. Then run the Head Cleaning which wipes the nozzles clean. Repeat as needed until all the colors appear in test pattern.

Do you have Epson printer?. Check all your inks levels and it should tell you what color you need. It looks like just one of your colors has ink yellow.

either the cartridges are empty or need to be cleaned . you can clean them by taking them out and applying a damp paper towel to where the ink comes out. just dab it until you see the ink on the damp paper towel. and try to print again. if its the same the other colours have run out and you need to change them. by the way i phoned lexmark and they were the ones to tell me how to do that.

You either have no magenta and cyan ink, or your printheads could be clogged. It's probably cheaper to buy a new printer.
