There was a Steve Irwin marathon yesterday on Animal Planet as a special tribute. Felt a little bit sad as there won't be any future Crocodile Diaries. He was a great man whose passion managed to promote many people's awareness in wildlife conservation. Love you, man. Sad as I could not meet you in person.

Of course, he was an entertaining man. But his cause, to bring a different understanding of animals considered dangerous and scary was even more valuable than his entertainment. His wife and little girls have suffered the greatest loss.
