Find LCM... please explain, I'm lost. 8s^2-13s-6 and 3s^2-7s-4?

8s^2 - 13s - 6 = (s - 2)(8s + 3)
3s^2 - 7s - 4

since the have nothing in common

(8s^2 - 13s - 6)(3s^2 - 7s - 4) = 24s^4 - 95s^3 + 41s^2 + 94s - 24

if they had something in common, then you would just multiply them by their common factor and their none common factors, for ex:

x^2 + 5x + 6 = (x + 3)(x + 2)
x^2 + 7x + 12 = (x + 3)(x + 4)

so you would get (x + 3)(x + 2)(x + 4) = x^3 + 9x^2 + 26x + 24
