When you see the person naked and see flab or layers or just extra meat hanging around the wrong places - that's fat.
Look at a chart you'll get a more accurate measurement

I consider skinny to be a size 4 or under. I consider fat to be over a size 12. A size 6-8 is slim and a size 10-12 is a little chubby/chunky. HTH : )

It's hard to consider fat and skinny as one true number, since skinny on one person might look fat on another, since everyone has different body types. If people look like sticks and don't even have curves anymore, that's skinny, If people have excess fat on them, then they are fat.

To give you a good comparison... I consider
Skinny: Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen and Mischa Barton skinny.
Fat: Rosie O' Donnell, Star Jones, Roseanne Barr and Kirstie Alley before her weight loss from Jenny Craig.
I don't think anyone should strive to be 'skinny' or not care enough to get 'fat'. Instead, I would hope people would want to have good healthy looking bodies like, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Drew Barrymore.

Spain just banned fashion models with a BMI of under 18 as too skinny.
I think people should be healthy for their body types, with a good proportion of muscle to fat.
The funny thing about actresses is that people seem to expect them to stay in that adolescent skinny state for their entire lives, even after kids, while male actors get to put on a few pounds and get beefy.

I think fat is a person who is around 180 pounds or more, I weigh 155 but i work out a lot, benchpress and all that stuff so. And I think skinny is around eh 130

Anything over a size 4 is fat to me. Skinny would be a size 00. Size 1 or 2 is just right.

i condsider fat to be some one who's stomache hangs and a skinny person is someone who has a liitle pouch or no pouch
