I'm from the East coast, and if you were to address me properly, you would address me as Dr. (Wise Ol' Owl), of course my real name. It is funny how other races; I dare not say whites, or is that caucasions, think we have a preference and try not to offend. It is offensive, and you are ignorant not to know that. You are the ones with the classifications. We did not invent these titles, white americans gave them to us and you ask us to choose what we want to be called?

For every Black, *****, African-American out there, let me say: "Call us human." And by the way, treat us like humans as well.

Blacks in the South are surprisingly much nicer than those anywhere else. However, that is true of ALL races in the South. They're just plain nice. You'd think of all people blacks in the South would have a grudge or something, but they don't. Everyone down there are real sweethearts.

The difference is in the media's portrayal of non-whites in this country. We are all human beings but to divert attention, differences are created by overemphasis on different perceptions of the world as a whole. It is not the color of the skin but how we are taught to view the world and to interpret what we see/experience. "History is written by the victor and heeded by the vanquished". It does not matter what we are called...
