think for a second.... ok times up, there are tons of people that use myspace with out being harmed, it's just the few that get into trouble make news, do you think that it would be good news that the broadcasters said "well we had 2800 flights today that took off and landed safely today" no they focus on the one that crashed,
or the car wreck on the interstate highway that carries thousands of people a day. it all boils down to this; report what will sell papers or t.v. time because that is where the advertisement dollars are.

BS....myspace is safe if your kid is not acting like a ho.If parents are checking up on who the kids are friends with...you can pick out creaps right away. The girl that had some issue in TX or wherever had lied about her age and also gave out to much information...thats how pervs find out who you are and where you are.You have to use common sense...

I agree, if the news says it is bad, it's bad. What ever happened to going outside and play down by a ditch, sit in a closet or wandering the streets. To go on such a site you need to be versed in reading and writing as well as social skills. Which should be learned latter on in adult hood. To roam the streets all you need is ignorance and a scene of adventure. And maybe a board with a rusty nail in it and some matches.

Kids...especially teenagers have tendency to rebel, which causes even more drama...and half the time parents don't really know if their kid is a part of MySpace.

Lack of responsible parenting, pure and simple. "As long as the kids aren't bothering me..." And when something bad does happen, its someone else's fault.
