Yes! I used to put bottles of Pepsi in the freezer for a while and then drink them literally "ice" cold. There was a definite taste and crispness that cannot be matched in the sodas today.

Yes but I had to go to Prince Edward Island for that. Of course when I was a kid, pop only came in cans or glass bottles. I don't like the plastic bottles at all.

Nothing better than an ice cold Coke in a 6 oz. bottle! Canned soda tastes like the can!

Sure lots of times..all of my childhood and even now some sodas (or as we say in Pittsburgh ..."pop") does still come in glass bottles. I remember collecting bottles and taking them back to the store and they'd give us anywhere from 2 cents to a nickle a bottle. lol...one of those back in da day stories. That was in the 60s/70s

Sure do!! When I was growing up, we had a small store called The Pop Shoppe. All Bottles!! plus a whole bunch of flavors that most people wouldn't even thought existed. Delicious stuff :-)

Yes, I remember when I was a kid, Coke would come in greenish glass bottles and people would take them back to the store to get a deposit or whatever.

yes, but can't say i could tell a difference, other than it being harder to get the cap off (i tend to spill some when i pop mine off, so i just hand it to hubby to do now) and being a lot more aware of where i am sitting it down (so it doesn't fall and shatter)

When I was little, in the summer we would always go for clams and chips, and I would get a bottle of Coke, it was bliss.
