He will snack on babies that are twice the size of what a guppy could eat but he would be a great addition to your tank of male guppies.

Note that only dying bettas live in mud puddles. In the wild most bettas live in shallow pound, slow moving streams, and rice paddies. Shallow, but lots of space to swim.
You haven't said how big the tanks, or if the male guppy are fancy or not. Male fancy guppy are big nnon nos as they look like bettas, and are slow swimmers. Tank size matters as in tanks over 5 gallons most fish can out swim an irate betta.
The 1st step I'd do is get a large vase or jar that is taller than the tank. Put the betta into it. Put it into the tank. How does the betta react to the other fish. If he puffs up his gills, and displays his fins. He's not going to play nice. Give him an hour to adjust to seeing other fish before puttinh him in.
Note that if the baby guppy fit in his mouth he;ll eat them. This is true of all fish.

No, a filtered and heated 5 gallon is the minimum for a betta alone. Angelfish require a heated and filtered 29+ gallon tank minimum. The angelfish would be fine with the guppies in a larger tank, but the guppies should be kept with 1 male to 3-4 females. Koi can grow to several feet in length and require a pond, they are also coldwater and shouldn't be in with tropical fish.

You really should put the betta in a tank by himself, over a gallon is the best. Even thou bettas can live in small amounts of water it is not good for them and the amount of water changes you will end up having to do is crazy. A 2 gallion tank is good a 5 gallion filtered is even better. Remember that bettas like warm water 72-80F is a good range and they should not be kept with any fish that is under or above that range. Goldfish are a bad idea to keep with your betta because of Goldfish tend to like colder water.
You can keep your betta with your male guppies as long as you watch and make sure they do not nip is tail or gang up on him. Because of the betta's long fins it is hard for him to move quickly and the smaller fish might try to nip his fins it WILL stress your betta out and in the end the stress will kill him.
The easyest way is to get him a tank of his own and enjoy his wonderful display.

I would buy him a new tank. If you put him with the babies the Betta will eat the babies. If you put him with the male guppies the Betta will attack the guppies because of their colorful tails. You can put the Betta will larger fish that do not have long tails. i have one in my 55 gallon tank. The Betta does not fight with any of the other fish i keep the fish in with mollies and corries. There are other fish in the tank also. They will live longer if they have a larger place to swim. Good luck with your fish.

Yes, You can put your betta in with Guppies, But considering your female has babies I wouldnt chance it. He might decide to eat them. I have had past bettas in with guppies, so i know for a fact it can be done. But it also depends on the fish itself, and its environment.

Bettas can be with other fish that are community type fish, fish that aren't aggressive. I've had many bettas and I put them in my 20 gallon tank with other fish, you just can't put 2 bettas together. I put my betta with plattys, goldfish. You don't want to put Bettas with tiger barbs, they like to nip at fins and bettas have long fins. As for guppies, the betta might eat the guppies if they are too small, that would control the guppy population in your tank.

Yeah-you can, but only if you really HATE your guppies...they'll be sushi in no time if you do. I used to throw guppies and blood worms in with my bettas to bring them into breeding condition...and I'm sure you're not trying for that since you didn't mention a female betta, nor do I think you hate the Gups!!
