Yes, I believe in the death penalty when a killer has brutalized and murdered an innocent person. I believe strongly in the death penalty for those who have kidnapped, abused, or murdered children. I believe in the death penalty for mass murderers too. These people are not going to be rehabilitated; they will be housed, fed, clothed, and imprisoned for years and years on the taxpayers' money. We must take care of our most innocent and vulnerable among us including our children, the disabled, mentally and/or physically challenged, and the elderly. For some of these criminals, prison is the easiest life they've known. We must demand that our elected representatives enact laws that will make the punishment fit the crime. And we need to elect officials who will care about the victims' rights instead of the criminals'.

Yes, I strongly believe in the death penalty because these days people take murder too lightly and they end up getting off too easily.

Yes!!! And put in an express lane
There is NO punishment in prison. They have it better than half the general population. Cable TV, Internet access, They even eat better than half the people on welfare. Not to mention the FREE gym membership

I am totally opposed to it. An eye for an eye makes the world blind...(I don't know who originally said that, but I like it). Does it really save money?? I don't think so. Not after all of the appeals, the special treatment death row inmates have to have, etc. I think as a punishment, it is too good for murderers. Let them suffer by rotting in prison for the rest of their lives. The possibility of error is too great. The family of the convict is tortured unjustly. Even the victim's family has to deal with a prolonged ordeal...the years and years of appeals and news reports, etc...

Yes, it is real. I live in Texas and they are always putting people to death here. So any doubt about whether or not it truly exists is completely gone.
