I met my boyfriend Chris at summer school. We have been together 3 months. We live in different towns and go to different schools. We never see each other and hardly have time to talk because we both have different schedules. When I called he sounded different. When he called its okay. I don't know what is going on with him?I've liked my friend for a long long time. I like him and he asked me to go to a dance with him. I dont want to be unfair to both but i really like the other person more and have for longer then my boyfriend.

..Your boyfriend sounds like he's cheating on you. If you call and he sounds weird, either he's not used to you calling him or he's "busy". No offense but talk to him first, tell him you want to go to the dance with that other boy (don't say you like him, go with him MERELY AS FRIENDS) and that you want to go to the dance and since he can't well you want to go with your friend. Also, ask him what he's been up to lately, get every detail. You might seem clingy and obsessive, but hey you guys barely see each other or even talk to each other, there's nothing wrong with asking your boyfriend what's he been doing and that you want to know everything.
I think you should find out what your boyfriend has been doing, if he's shaky and hesitant, he might be cheating on you. If he had the chance every night and cared about you, he'd call you. Every night he probably DOES have the chance. You should set your priorities.
In my opinion, I think you should break up with your boyfriend, give it awhile, then maybe go out on a date or two with that other guy. But currently with your friend, go ahead and go to the dance as FRIENDS. =). If your boyfriend understood, he'd let you go. But no cheating, you'll regret it later on, and even during, and it'll only bring too many problems.

its tough but heres what i think you should do.....go to the dance with the boy....when your boyfriend calls again....or you call him...which ever tell him that you guys dont talk enough and never get to see each other and its just way to hard.....if he asks tell him you have a friend that you like at your school and you guys can talk all the time and see each other every day and hes just here for me.....you know?.....so yeah just break up with the other boy from the summer because its way to hard to go out with a boy you will probably never see again and dont talk to alot.........hope ive helped.....good luck!

You can go to the dance with your friend, make sure nothing crosses that friendship line though.
You also need to talk to your bf, maybe it's time for you to take a break?
You have to be prepared with all possible outcomes, such as your friend only like you as a friend (even if you don't have a bf). So you have to think it through, and decide what you really want.

Girl, if you feel more comfortable with someone, go for him! Why are you hesitating for no reason. Your boyfriend can meet many other girls in HIS school so who knows? Dont give your stress more it's supposed to have. You still got school and family to think about. Well, good luck!

I think if you are still a teenager and your not very serious with the relationship you should go just has friends your young people makes mistakes.
Or you can bring it up to your bf and see what he says

That is a tough position your could choose which one you like more and go with them or cheat but that wouldn't be fair or nice to the other one I would see which one you liked more and be with them
