in order to answer this, you have to stand outside of what youre trying to define, in this case existence or the universe.
this you can [as a human being] never do.
hence the question itself if meaningless.
all you can do is to say what you personally find meaningful.
many people find meaning by helping a cause that is greater than their own ego.
personal ambition, if its only to exalt your own ego, is a poor generator of meaning.
listen to the numbers of great sportsmen and other achievers, and note how common the experience is, of elation turning into a feeling of emptiness.
paradoxically, helping other people [which many(especially young) selfish people think is such a chore] can give you the greatest feeling of meaning.

OINKING? translated means.......? Never mind, I think I know!!!!!It's creating life, but I don't think it's the sole purpose of life!Don't all of us who have children leave a part of us here when we die? Everyone has something that they give to life! It's when you give up and feel like you have nothing to give to life or that it has nothing to give to you that it becomes meaningless! If everything we did in our lives was meaningless what would be the use of living?

The meaning of life is try before you die.Inspire or be inspired. For too long many have squandered opportunities to truly seek pleasure in knowledge and activity, a mind is a magnificent thing and structured to learn, impulses of feeling magnify enjoyment or dislike. People have dreams and goals in life and so many never make them come true, why you ask? Life is too short, far from it ... life is what you make of it, make it as fun as you can, dare to be different, try new things and fulfilment can be achieved.

You are not on here on earth by accident know that there is a purpose. You are here to receive a physical body, gain experience, progress and grow. To love, to choose right over wrong, to do the best that you can in serving and helping those you meet and to be happy.

In our humanistic society, people pursue many purposes, thinking that in them they will find meaning. Some of these pursuits include: business success, wealth, good relationships, sex, entertainment, doing good to others, etc. People have testified that while they achieved their goals of wealth, relationships, and pleasure, there was still a deep void inside -- a feeling of emptiness that nothing seemed to fill.

My pastor has given several sermons where he has told this story (paraphrased here):

"I've been to the bedside of dozens of dying persons. Not one of them has asked for their Palm Pilot. They have not asked to see the values of their stock portfolio. They have not wanted to use their cell phone to make sales calls or check in with the office.

"They have wanted to be with the people in their lives that love them."

There are places in our lives that we can see things in clear focus. As humans, ultimately the fate of those that we care about emerges as the important, essential substance in our life.

Christians understand that loving others, being inspired to serve others, pleases God.
