I Live on the lake and there are two wells. Most campers have moved out but you can see where their "Grey water lines empty into the lake. One well is thirty feet from the shoreline. I have experimented with this water about three times as I was out of "culligan water". Diarea each time. Drinking dish water, commode water, and mud..I have filters but you can not tell it if you look in the tank behind the commode.

Well if I drink purified water from a bottel I always whipe the mouth off. And I don't drink water from the tap....so I don't really worry about it.
