if thier ringing your mobile you can block the number on your phone if it your land line tell them they have reach the police redirect number and to leave a message after the beep then blow a football whistle down the phone with a bit of luck it willl burst thier eardrums, or do what my son does and say in his best indian accent no thanks but while you on the line could i interest you in my lastest mobile on the elephant package it great for making trunk calls then make all kinds of crackling noises and hang up it,s costing them not you or just leave them talking to themselves thats what i do i haven,t had any for ages

Maybe so. But in reality, haven't whistle-blowers been invisible for years anyway? Protecting Obama has been the number one mission of most in the media. The fact that this administration is corrupt and will stoop to any level for the sake of their agenda became apparent to the rest of when outright Bribery was used to ram 'obamacare' down our throats. SO NOW that they're the target, the Media is finally waking up? Too little too late fools. We all know you sat on stories until after this clown was reelected! Anyway, I'm glad the media is waking up but I won't forget the majority have enabled, and are just as corrupt as this administration.

Toucan telecom & their foreign call centre called my house 60 times over one weekend last year, not long after I set the landline up. I threatened every thing BT, Ofcom, but until I threatened to call the police this one guy wouldn't stop. He honestly thought if he pestered us long enough we'd give in. Anyway I signed up to the telephone preference service after that & since then I've had no calls at all. Which is great because I work nights! And no you can't get in trouble- You tell em where to go buddy! I hate these people who hang on the line saying no thanks!

dificult, you could see if it is one number only and then ask your telephone service provider to block this number, if not you could ask to change your number. Your number could of come from anywhere that you have given you phone number, so questionaires and say a shop, they then sell the information, i have been receiveing in some cases upto 10 calls a day from several mobile phone companys trying to sell me an upgrade, not do for another year as 18month contract though. I have to change my number, i have asked for my number to be removed but they still call.

I dont think you are the only one....my husband keeps getting the same phone calls as well!!! and they even called my parents in law landline!!!
Why dont you just get another number (PAYG) and ask your family members to call on the new number instead? Block all the incoming international calls on the number you keep getting calls from those twats!!!

Get yourself on the TPS list, not sure if it will cover foreign calls though. We have this problem as well, have signed up and am waiting the 30 days before i can start complaining.
I even block incoming hidden numbers, but that doesnt stop them, as they come up as "unavail" stupid dumb@ss BT.

You can't get in trouble for swearing at them. If they don't want to be sworn at, they shouldn't be ringing in the first place.
