In A Million Little Pieces and My Friend Leonard. I'm wondering if a guy like Leonard actually existed?

I read both books and although they are both not supposed to be 'true' stories now, I still think Leonard actually did exist. Both books were entertaining whether true or not.

I read both and continue to think James Frey is a very talented writer. I also believe the public humiliation he was put through was an abomination. They made a huge deal out of nothing to sell themselves and create, "news", and James was the fall guy. We should all be ashamed, Oprah included.

I know what you mean. After reading it I myself wondered a little if I would ever come across someone in my life who would remind me of Leonard.

Yes, I read a Million Little Pieces and enjoyed it.
It was supposed to be his own story in rehab.
Although it came out after he made Oprahs reading club that although it was written somewhat diary style a lot of it was created not actual.

But I still enjoyed.
