There is swelling in the right foot painful at times with indentations and contrations in the right leg when leg is pressed by a finger or leg is leaning on a table for example-what is it ?

need to go see a orthopedic.

Your leg is retaining fluids. If the indentation eventually evens out. The condition is called edema. Many reasons for this, but among the most serious is Cellulitis. If the leg and foot are redder than usuall, it is even more clearly so.

If the indentations remain for more than a minute or so, that particular symptom is called dimple edema.

Because of the mention of pain, I would seriously recommend you see a doctor. He can better diagnose this and give you medications to, at least reduce the swelling.

It sounds like a muscle contraction to me in the leg. Try slowly stretching your leg and holding it. Don't do anything too hard on it either. It should go away soon. As for your foot, I'm not sure...

better go and see a doctor buddy. I think you got hives.
