I think that after today, the Tigers could be in trouble. I bet the Tigers are the wild card and the Twins take the division. And the Sox are odd man out and go home......Even with the Sox and Minnesota playing each other in the final series of the season.

I think The Tigers will hold on and take the Central.
Either way Minnesota & Detroit make the playoffs.
The last week of the season favors The Tigers.
Regardless of what happens from here on out, as a Tiger fan I am simply delighted by the season they have had so far.
No one (especially me) thought that The Tigers would be in 1st place this late in the season. If you, or anyone, had told me that The Tigers would be in 1st place in September I would have said you were smoking crack!
In spring training I knew The Tigers would be better. I had hoped for 80-82 wins at best.
You have to remember that The Tigers havent finished above .500 since 1993. The fact that they have already won 86 games is simply amazing.
Another thing to remember is that the whinny sux had a 15 game lead over Cleveland in August of last year (and almost blew it). The same thing was said about the whinny sux last year, and they won the World Series.
I'd love for The Tigers to be Division champs. And play Oakland in the DCS. The Twins take the wild card and spank the yankmes!
Also, The Tigers owe Minnesota for 1987!!!!
*you can put a fork in the whinny sux. they are done*
p.s.:
one more thing to remember is that if Minnesota tie for the division, The Division would go to Detroit because they beat Minnesota in the season series, 11-8.

No chance! Tigers will win AL Central buy a game or two, with the White Sox closing the door on the Twins the last week of the season.

If you ask me, I think the White Sox will take the Wild Card and the Twins take the AL central. As for Georgie Porgie, I think its the Tigers who are in bad shape. If the Tigers do make the Playoffs, they will get knocked out in the first round. You shouldnt compare them to last years Sox, because now, the Tigers have 2 teams to worry about and they are still slumping and probably will be for another week at least.

Yes they can, and WILL. Once they get Liriano back combines with Santana they will be unable to be hit against.
