I think Melexsi is a cute name.

I have a Jordan myself (a boy) but was going to be Jordan either way (Jordan Tyler or Jordan Alyssa). I also have a daughter named Vanessa. We chose names that were not very common, and at the time they weren't (they are 10 and 13 now).

My friends just had a boy they named Logan which I like and another friends are due in December. They are both having boys and naming them Gavin and Keagan which are not very common either and I like all of those names.

Melexsi is cute. Nice to spell it how it is pronounced to save your kid years of explaining. Check out some foreign names online, too.

Girl -
LaDan "La' Dan" from Arabic name meaning "crysanthymum"
Kilmeny "Kill men ee" Irish
Carly
Ellecia "Uh leash ee a" ;)
names that start with "Z" like Zarissa, etc.
Torey "Torree"
Jayden (starting to get really popular) but cute.
Jade
Elise or Alise
Alexandra "Lexi" for short
Makenna
Adeline "Add uh line" Addy for short
Ella
Macy or Maizie
Regan
Riley

Boys -
William, Liam for short "Lee um"
Kaden
Ace
Ty
Charlie
Kion

But, boys don't do very well with uncommon names, it's better to name them something a little more mainstream.

Melexsi sounds like the disease that kills rabbits, sorry, it sounds a bit odd.

In the end it is up to you and you should call your child what you like, I do not like those odd names and ones that sound made up, also I hate things like Cheyenne, Mercedes, Chardonnay etc, they sound cheap and tacky, like you expect the girls to look really slutty.

For a girl I like Darcy Grace

For a boy I like Connor, but have not got a middle name

I don't like the name Melexsi. Sounds like a granola cereal. Sorry.

My daughter's name is Rowan. (She was born five years before Brooke Shields named HER daughter Rowan. I got the name from my favorite book, The Witching Hour by Anne Rice.

My youngest daughter's middle name was kinda made up. Its Daralynne. Dara lynne - sounds just how it looks but run together.

My son is Elijah Deacon but had he been a girl we would have called him Serena Blyss.

I like Charisma and Justice for names. They're different but strong. Good luck!

Jalynn Rose (Jay-lynn) - I would use it for a girl. It is actually after a male basketball player that used to play ot U of Michigan!

I also used to know a Michanne (Mishanne) - named after the state of michigan.
