I am in Real Estate & Finance and am a Notary. It is helpful to me at work but I don't feel that it would be a very good full time job.

Let's see... you get paid around $1-2 to notorize items so unless you have 50+ requests a day, I would say no. Having a notary is a great license to have if you work in a bank, auto dealership, or other financial place of business but it's not going to make you money. It's a service you can offer but not a primary occupation.

Not unless you have a lot of family that sell real estate. To be a notary is more of a hassle than a moneymaker. I let my comission expire last October.

I guess it could, all you do is sign legal papers, but the slightest slip in the legal world, and you could lose all of it.
