I try to enter the code for the gnome but that won't work either. Please somebody help!!

Try this. Try using the last cheat code listed first, then the others.
Cheat: Fill All Motives
Unlock Gnome. Then pause the game and enter UP, CIRCLE, UP, RIGHT, L2.
