Because they are less likely to tell on the bullies. I'm pretty quiet but the good thing is I don't get beat up or anything.

I very much remember what it was like in high school (1970-74). Worse, I had skipped 8th grade, so I went from being an underclassman in Junior High School to being a Freshman in High School. I definitely was not ready for that, nor was I expecting it or or even working toward it.
I agree with many of the comments above made by those who dealt with this, but of interest, now many of those that picked on me have come to me for help in the last 17 years in my work with divorced and single fathers. With them, it was mostly divorced. None have ever said anything about life back at high school, not even to reminisce about any of the good times. I guess they feel guilty and want to leave the subject alone.
What is worse about this is that even those who were picked on, often did the same thing to the younger kids. I would be curious is per capita of student populations, if the rates have increased or decreased over the last few decades. Simply saying the number have increased or decreased is not enough, as there have been dramatic changes in the makeup of student populations since the 70s.

I used to be very quiet during 6th grade and the popular kids starting picking on me and then came 7th grade I started talking more and started cussing, and then 8th grade, I just got badder and badder so now people dont pick on me anymore. The quiet kids never do anything because they are afraid to speak up or don't want to.

People very often and mistakenly take "quietness" for weakness. A ridiculous but true example, the library. We must be quiet in the library. Think of all the knowledge stored in libraries. Knowledge is a symbol for power and strength, not weakness.
Also, people are just plain rude and ignorant, sometimes.

I was quiet in school and the few times I got picked on was because people assumed I wouldn't stand up for myself but they were very wrong. Just because someone is quiet doesn't mean they won't fight back.

i will work out it rather is a tit for tat grudge tournament and your ex is screwing with you to make life as complicated as she would manage to. I style of remember your questions in this till now. the subject is that CPS has a job to do and that they should persist with up each allegation one with the help of one. they're component to the government so it rather is all very procedural stuff they're doing. approximately all you're able to do on the 2nd is proceed what you have already been doing and that's to adhere on your weapons, tell the certainty and enable them to style it out. one element which could help you is having evidence to back up your version of events. i comprehend it rather is a soreness yet you should get your self a low-priced digicam that records the date and time on the photograph and actual image your daughter in appropriate undies or go well with on a daily basis so as which you have on a daily basis photographic evidence of her pores and skin subject (bruises or no bruises and so on). Make this furnish to CPS to enable them to comprehend you're pondering your concerns. That way, CPS has your photographic evidence on their documents and can learn your ex's statements against the photos. the belief is to sew her up as a liar and get the CPS off your back. stable luck with all of it :)
