I'm going to breast feed my baby when it is born no matter what because I know it is SO much healthier for them. I am just curious about what it will do to my boobs. HaHa! Thanks!

For me, it did nothing to the appearance, but when I touch them, the feel a little (and I mean a LITTLE) less full. I have breastfed two kids for a year each, and they were B cups before and after both. I think it has less effect on your breasts if they are smaller. Some women with larger breasts experience lass of fullness and some sagging. I have also heard of the areola color permanently changing. I believe have read that they permanent changes to breasts after breastfeeding is not much different than the natural changes to breasts with age, even without breastfeeding!

Good for you for nursing, and best of luck!!

Yes dear. It is the sacrifice mothers are required to give for healthy children. I've had four babies and nursed them all. After the last one I started going to the gym and got in very svelte, much to my dismay I also lost all signs of breast, no sagging not small breast, just completely gone. A few years ago I had breast augmentation surgery done, and I'm very happy about it. Personally I think it was reconstructive surgery. Not every mother is the same, but the possiblity is there.

Hi. I've breastfed three big healthy children and they have really thrived. It is definitely best and after the initial hard work it settles down to being much easier than bottle feeding and very comforting for baby.
However .... it does completely bugger your breasts! I wore the best of bras and had them fitted by experienced fitters both during and after pregnancy but my boobs are a shadow of their former selves!
I was a 32DD before pregnancy rising to a 36 HH during so I suppose I had more to sag. I think smaller breasts recover better.
Mine are quite limp but thems the breaks. It did my children a lot of good and a good bra still works wonders!
Stick with it. It is well worth it.
Good Luck!
Anne

well i have stretchmarks on my breasts... those developed during my pregnancy since they got bigger in order to accomodate for milk production. while you are breastfeeding (while your milk supply is up) your breasts will be huge! enjoy it! after your done, they will be very saggy. sorry, its just the facts of life!
