Well with a normal newborn you can figure at least one diaper every two hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on their little systems and how much they eat, etc.

About 10. If you are planning to stock up on diapers to spread out the cost I don't recommend buying too many newborn. You'll probably use more size 2 & 3 diapers as the child's growth slows slightly.

A newborn will go through 10 - 15 diapers in a day's time, depending on how picky you are about changing them as soon as they are wet or messy.
A lot will depend on how much your baby eats or drinks, whether (s)he is bottle or breast fed, how often you check to see if the diaper is wet and other factors.
The number of diapers goes down as the baby grows up but then there are less in a package for the same price too so you really don't gain anything financially.
Why not use cloth diapers? Cloth diapers are best and cheapest to use in the long run.
Disposables put plastic, paper and chemicals against your baby's skin, is this really a good thing for the baby?? Not only that but with disposables you put all that paper, plastic, chemicals and human waste into our landfills.
The human waste breeds all kinds of bacteria that filters down into our water systems, yuck! Not to mention that the diapers themselves take decades to decay, long after our own bodies decay they will still be there. Why do that to our environment? I think they should be outlawed.
With cloth, your baby will have less chance of getting diaper rashes, your baby will be wrapped in a nice soft cloth diaper and will be more comfortable. Your baby will potty train sooner because with the cloth diapers your baby feels it more when they are wet and messy and learn quicker not to like it and want to get rid of wearing the diapers.
Think long and hard about it. What are you really interested in? You should be interested in your baby's health and comfort, not your own convenience when it comes to changing diapers. Take care of your baby, they aren't supposed to be a convenience, they are little human beings that you are supposed to be taking the best care of, lovingly raising them to become happy and healthy productive adults.
Good luck.

A SUPER LOT!! Ha, no, I'd say maybe 8, give or take a couple. You change them as soon as they are poopie (which a newborn poops A LOT) and when their diaper is squooshie from pee! Good luck!

They can go through a bag a day depending on how much they eat! Especially if they get the runny poops! They go through just as many outfits as they do diapers in a day!!

The woman at my child birth class that has 7 children said
It depends on if you breastfeed or bottle feed
Breastfeed- They go through anywhere between 6-12 diapers because they do eat like every 3 hours.
Bottle feed- Isnt has high because they dont digest the formula has well has they would the breast milk and they also dont eat has much when they get older.

I have four kids. My youngest is 5 mths old today. He went through about 14 a day until he was 2 mths old then it started to slow down. He's at about 8 a day now but he eats like crazy!
