A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

Despite popular conceptions, imagery in dreams doesn't ALWAYS carry meaning. I saw the movie Superman Returns a few days ago, the next night I was dreaming about Superman (not in the gay sense!). So Superman appearing in my dreams has no hidden meaning at all. It is a known fact that the subconscious absorbs everything and I guess our dreams is, predominately, merely a natural mechanism which helps us to sort out and possibly make sense of this vast amount of information.

Perhaps I'm being a little hasty, there is scientific evidence to suggest that recurring dreams might be the result of some underlying pyschological battle going on within yourself. I can certainly vouch for this. I'm afraid of failure and I have regularly dreams about failing in my school exams, even five years on. I also dream a lot about my life as a 12 year old kid. For me this time was absolute paradise. I miss that. So if you are dreaming about being shot a lot then perhaps you need to interrupt the imagery yourself, each person is different... have you been a victim of crime? Are you afraid of death?

Being shot at literally means that your confidence is dropping. By projecting the scene of being shot or being killed means that you want to give up on something
