then don't buy, try leasing.

there is practically never a repair bill, you can get a new car every 1-2 years, just follow the dealer recommendations for basic maintenance.

New cars are so complicated, i can sympathize with your concerns.

The only draw backs are that you can't do your own modifications and you will always have a car payment every month.

One of these days some day, you will be familiar with the basics of owning a vehicle, and you will be comfortable with Buying your own car. But just leave that for the future - someday.

Good Luck!

Cheers !!

There is an old saying that goes like this:

If you're leasing you will always have car payments. But when you own your car, you will always have to pay for your own maintenence and repairs.

Leasing allows you to use the warranties on the car/truck to your advantage, you bring it in, pay a minor fee or sometimes its free because its in the lease.

If you own your car/truck, and you can't fix it yourself, you take it to a mechanic, he looks at it, gives you an estimate, you have a heart attack and get a ride to the hospital.
Well, its like that for a lot of things, when you own your own car/truck. Certain things you can't really fix yourself anyway, you got hardly a choice in the matter.

Go to the library and look for the back issue of Consumer Reports. Should be March or April or May of this year. They do a complete report on Cars and trucks both new and used.

You need to state what you're planning to do with the vehicle before anyone can help you choose one.
