how do I get pass the guards in the dungeon with the mice in Zelda Wind Waker?

How do I complete the dungeon I always get caught by the mice in the dungeon room with the guards. I would like the information on completeing the dungeon and getting the sister.

the second guy has given you a great answer.

you need to defeat the little mice, then you will be able move along without them targeting you. fight them where the big guards can't see! remember, when you have the bigger guards, you need to work stealthily, you're not supposed to fight them yet.

and those beezle guys, the ones that make that buzzy type noise... they are infinite. even if you defeat them, they will always resurface.

This is probably the worst part of the game--stealth.

Barrels are your friends. Pick one up and you sort of hide underneath it. You can also move around while under it. Be careful, as the guards see you moving. If you stay still while in the barrel, they ignore you, and then you can move once they've gone on their merry way.

The rest of the game is quite good though.

I was able to get around them by just letting them capture me and then crawling through the hole in the wall to get to the upper level. It was a pain using the barrel so I got around it. You do need to use it later though to get around the search lights and more guards, but it's a lot easier as you get closer to the tower.
