Climb Mt. Whitney. Cross over Whitney to the Kern Canyon on the other side and camp next to Guitar Lake. Hike to the Kern Canyon from there and find the hot springs. Take a bath in the hot springs right next to the Kern River. Awesome!

Walk to a park and picnic, volunteer at the local human society, go swimming, to the beach, draw or paint, liabrary to become experts in frugal living, do it yourself books, budgeting , and home decorating on a dime.
