I was asleep my mom woke me up and said "guess what Steve Irwin is dead" I cried on the inside.

i was at my grandmothers house visiting them and my cousins and aunt came by as well to have a family get together and my cousin and I were just jabbering away about babies and what has been happening latley with our lives and she was just so calm "yea it was sad that steve irwin died" i was like "what?". this was at 10pm that day (night really) and i didnt hear or see one thing about it on the news all day! shocked me. i thought she was joking.

1. Looking online for what time my bus was coming, so I could see if I could still be on time for work.
2. No, I kind of chuckled at the utter lack of irony (and felt bad about laughing in the face of someone's death) then told my husband about it while he was driving me to work (the bus thing didn't work out).

i was chatting with my friend on msn messenger and he gave me a website to check out with the story that steve had been killed and i couldn't believe it when i read it and HECK yeah i sure did cry.. it was so sad also because of him leaving behind two young children and a wife .. and the fact that him and i were the same age.. that really got to me ..

I was sitting on my bed watching TV and my son saw it on yahoo news and told me. I didn't believe him at first. I still cry whenever I see him or read about what happened. RIP Steve~
