Do you get your road condition information from local police or from other truckers over the CB radio?

Also how often do you talk to other truckers on your radio?

I don't mean to be intrusive. I am just curious.

Thank you for the work you do also. You truely keep America running!

There were a number of ways I'd get my info on weather/traffic. To me, a C.B. radio was a "must have" in order to find out about all conditions (including if something may have been wrong with my truck). It also was useful for finding directions to places and helping other drivers. Some other ways I would check up on condtions were with satellite radio, the local radio/TV, the company I drove for had weatherband radios installed in the trucks, and every once in a while The Weather Channel. With this combination, it was very rare to be suprised by anything down the road.
