Because all of nature is a closed eco-system.And a system always works to maintain itself.If one part breaks the system must adapt,or fail.Evolution allowed for this.But over a very long period of time.(millions of years) So,considering the rate at which humans are changing the system,versus the rate of evolution.The system will eventually maintain itself by causing mass extinction of all life forms,(including Humans)maybe not everything.But enough that the system can recover and maintain itself.In other words,we're all doomed!!! because we are surrounded by nature, and when it changes then we are exposed to its change.. this is called "evolution"..
