all monty python films are classics.
four weddings and notting hill for romantics.
full monty had some classic bits.
withnail and i can not be beat.
shawn of the dead for british humour at zombie movies.
but even the old ealing comedies had their moments.
even some of the old carry on... films had god bits in.
we are still not classed as a great film making country, even though we seem to have made some brilliant films over the years.
i suppose this country has been associated with costume dramas too much.
;-)

I liked The Full Monty too, have it on VHS.
But Sean Of The Dead is up there with being one of the greatest. At least one of the funniest. Along with the Monty Python's.

I really enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes Mysteries on PBS when they used to air them so long ago. Also I enjoyed Lovejoy Mysteries. I wish they'd show them again.
Monty Python's Flying Circus was great! I have every intention to eventually get the series on DVD.
