I have been in my home for almost 2 yrs. now, when, I moved here , it was not in the best shape. Since then, I had the outside covered with vinyll siding. The windows were trimmed , by the previous owner, with 2x4's. They are an ugly color and need to be covered, paint is not an option... too many and white paint would take 3-4 coats...lol Looking for wood or aluminum..can't find anywhere...?

flashing, when properly installed, will give instant curb appeal to the home as well as provide water shed for the windows. this is your most practical and cost effective way.

Try replacing it with a wide molding. Any home center will have an adequate selection.
