I was working for the retail chain called, "Kohl's". I was a department manager then. I had just moved back to central jersey from South Jersey. I was in a bad relationship, where the guy was verbally abusive. Once I got back here, I got my job back at Kohl's. I was scheduled on a late that night. I came in and there was dead silence in the store. I had no idea what was going on. Then when I found out. I just cried. I couldn't believe that the pain and sorrow was continuing for me, and mostly everyone else for this reason. From that day forward. I don't trust this country, or what is has to offer. There are people running this country that don't know what the heck there doing. It's saddens and scares me that that it's 5 years later, and nothing has seems to change at all. That is just my take on it.

I was at work, we were just about to get our day started, when I noticed people gathering around the televisions.
I was a teacher assistant at the time. Our principle sent notes to each classroom, telling us what had happened. In the note, he said to keep everyone calm, and gave us the time to turn the classroom TVs on, so that the students could see, the tragedy that had occur ed. The whole school was quite for that period of time. Even the smart mouths were in shock, we couldn't believe this happening in our country.

Was in high school talking with friends when another friend came late and told us what happened. By the way he described it i thought he meant a little plane hit the tower, like a 2 seat er. But then we went to class and turned on the TV in time to see the 2NT plane hit. The Principal came on the intercom and ordered all teachers to turn off the TVs and resume class. Everyone said f*** you and kept watching. The school went on lock down till the end of the day. At work my coworkers husband who was in the reserves was called in that afternoon. My grandfather, 69, who wore a green bray was called to consult. 8 of my friends signed up the next day.

I had just got laid off and was working as a Nanny for Sally Reed. Her kids were not allowed to watch TV so I had o idea until she called and said " We're under attack. Put the kids in front of the cartoons I'm on my way home" I had no idea what she was talking about. I put the kids in her room and popped in a tape. Ran downstairs and turned on the TV. I heard Sally pull in the driveway and she ran down the stairs and sat on the floor with me as we watched the first tower fall. I held my hand over my mouth to muffle my cry and Sally held her hands on her head. All she could say was "My husband is in Houston on business. How do I explain this to my children?"

The night before, I was playing a Video game called"Guardians Crusade"("Knight and Baby" in the "Pal" countries;)). I was trying to beat an area called"God's tower" but I was too tired to do it. Next morning, I played the tower again, and I brought it down. Imagine my shock to turn on the news after playing that section of the game, and seeing the WTC just as the second plane went into it0_0. I said"Oh my God, oh my God, Oh my God!"and when people in the house heard me talking about the tower, they thought at first I was talking about the game0_o

I was at home. I had sent my kids off to school and was cleaning house when my friend called me. She wanted to know if I was watching tv. (I wasn't) She said I better turn it on because a plane had run into a building in New York and it was all over the news. I turned on the news just in time to see the footage of the 2nd plane hitting.
