They are monogamous in the wild, and they protect their owners in captivity. They have the intellect to plan a hunting strategy in packs, and the ability and the DESIRE to learn human words and obey. Their pack hierarchy is linear, and they integrate well into groups of other species, like mankind. They are empathetic, sensing your emotions and caring enough to be there for you. They stand by you through bad times and good times. They protect those you care about, without you even asking. They just KNOW things, certain truths, that even mankind has trouble staying close to. When raised right, a dog will even learn to love other animals like cats or birds or ferrets. They know how to have fun, they love to exercise with you, and they are also cute and fluffy! They are the perfect friend.

I love dogs!! Ever since I was a baby I had at least one dog in the family. I have a German Short Hair Pointer now I had her almost a year. Her name is Macey. Spoiled Rotten. I also had Beagles and Siberian Huskies.
