There are no Florida or federal laws that require a business to give vacation or holiday leave.

I live and work here in FL, and being a right to work state does not alter the fact that there are some holidays that are a given, and some that may not allow you to take off, depending on your employer.

Any company you work for, or want to work for, should make it clear what, and available to their employees.

It isn't a Q you should ask immediately in a pre hire interview however.

Many holidays, and time given off for them, paid or not, are nebulous with some companies,,WALMART being one prime example. If you happen to work for your Uncle Charlie,,, he might allow you your birthday,,,and even pay you,,, but don't expect it on any other scale.
