At 18 weeks along, the head is the equivalent of 20 weeks along and the rest of the body is normal growth for 18 weeks, should Mom be concerned?

It will likely even out. Do you or the other parent have big heads in your lineage? (Yeah, I know that sounds ridiculous, but take a look.) I grew up with a kid we nicknamed "Hot Dog" because of the size and shape of his head. He was perfectly nornal, and eventually the rest of his body caught up with his head.

People come in all shapes and sizes. If everyone were the same, the world would be boring.

yes the mother should be concerned if shes later on in the pregnancy lets say 7 months if its only 2 or 3 she should not be stressed or scared just in case go to the doctor and consult a doctor

No. Babies are always born with unusally large heads...which is why we think they are so cute. All big-headed mammals (i.e. pandas) are believed to be more cute and adorable than small-headed mammals.

ok, to me it sounds normal. but just curious, i'm assuming that you found this out from the doc, perhaps an ultrasound. why didn't you just ask your doc when you found out?

NO...THIS IS NORMAL. FURTHER ALONG IN YOUR PREGNANCY EVERYTHING WILL EVEN OUT. GOOD LUCK :-)
