i was watching the news and i heard aronold say something about how puertericans and cubans are hot because they have black blood in them and he apologized for saying that. i didn't see the big deal in that and it wasn't racist if anything it was more of a compliment. people are always trying to make something out of nothing. what is your opinion?

It seems harmless but consider this. It's true Puerto Ricans and Cubans have black blood in them but that's not all they have. They're a mix of black blood, European blood, and native island blood. I guess they don't like to say they're just black. I know, Arnold Swarzenegger didn't mean anything by it, but he's a politician too. Even comments on races have to be played at a downlow. Politicians don't want to rub anyone the wrong way.

It's because many Puerto Ricans and Cubans consider themselves white and do not have black ancestry. There is racism in Puerto Rico and Cuba just like everywhere else.
