I have been best friends with this girl for 5 years now. All of a sudden she starts telling me all of these lies. Should I still be her friend? What should I do?

That happened to me last year with one of my really good girl friends. She and I just took about a 3 month break from each other. We aren't the best of friends anymore like we were, but we are friends.

Being friends with a person that lies is not a comfortable situation to be in. Stay away from her and perhaps whatever got her started with make her stop, when she finds herself isolated from her "friends"

Confront her and find out why she's lying. Remind her that you're her friend and there for her but that you can't abide her lying to you......trust is a big part of friendship and you can't build trust with lies.
I know this makes you sad and I'm sorry you're going through this! We've all been there though!

be very sure they are really lies , then call her on it before giving up on a friend. maybe somethings going on in her life and she may need you now more than ever?

If they aren't harmful lies I see no reason why not. But tell her that the lying is annoying.

I think that if I were you, I'd start reconsidering my friends, and her still being one. You should have a talk with her, and if you still feel that you can't trust her, then let her go, or just stay acquaintances with her.

Well it show's that you have doubt. First ask her why all the lie's. Find out what seem's to be her problem. If she can't set down and tell you. then you have your answer.

It depends.if its like u told her to ask the guy u liked if he liked u & he said yes but she told you he said no,then u shouldnt be frends anymore.If its something in the middle then just talk to her but dont be best frends with her.

talk to her about these lies.if nothing changes then end the friendship.you don't need a friend that you can't depend on.
