Ok yes #1 i am a Seahawks fan and yes i watched the game ..now the lions made 5 tackles by helmet 1 was caught and 3 were not that were helmet to helmet. yes there was a really close one called against the Seahawks too but really it was a facemask to body tackle.. then i see a play with the Chiefs QB getting nailed Helmet to helmet and injured with no penalty? and just now a cowboy did it too but he got caught..any comments? does this yet prove more that the refs need to be held accountable?

I totally agree with you. I am not a chiefs fan by any definition of those words but I was outraged when there was no flag thrown on that play. First, people are blind if they don't see he was sliding. Second it was helmet to helmet.i'm all for letting them play but come on!

I don't think so. I think that refs were *way* oversensitive to it in the past, and some of them are just letting the game be played out.

I have a problem with the crown of the defender's helmet hitting the offensive player's chin, face mask, or ear hole. Crown to crown hits don't bother me as much, but I don't think it's a great move for preserving either player's chances for longevity in the league.

Every player needs to realize that while they may be dishing it out today, tomorrow they could be on the receiving end of such a shot. Frankly, I think the players' union should look at it and be more self-regulating.

Isn't that called "spearing." It is illegal, isn't it?

It's not suppose to happen in the NFL.

Once enough injuries happen they will stop it.
