Definitely. I agree with you about the high prices. A one day pass is $60. Back in 2001 when I worked there, it was only $48. But it is still well worth the money. The memories you will share with your family will last a lifetime. I go back about twice a year!
I highly recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time at www.disneyworld.com
If you're on a tight budget, I recommend getting everyone in your family a 2 day park hopper pass. Split the 4 parks into 2 days. This can be done. Visit Animal Kingdom and MGM your first day; then Magic Kingdom and EPCOT the next day. I've visited all 4 parks in one day and saw practically everything, so I promise you that this can be done. Feb is a great time to visit because there aren't many people there. However, still avoid the weekends at the parks. That is when the locals take the kids to play. Go to the parks anytime during the week. Mondays and Tuesdays tend to be slower.

Yes it is especially if you have kids . It is a all day event an worth seeing everything !!I wouldn't recommend a three day or two day pass because one day was enough for my family ,although I think children would go everyday if they could ,so if you can stay up with them then buy the two day pass. We went last year an had a blast ,stayed from 12:00 noon until dark . If you do have kids I promise by the time you enjoy a day they will sleep all night an part of the next morning and so will you ! Ha! Go buy the tickets you will not regret it !

We loved Disney World but you will probably want to see more than one of the parks there. All 4 are amazing. Is it worth it? yes! Now you also have the option of Universal Studios which has 2 parks as opposed to 4 and is slightly better than Disney in my opinion! Either way..the kids will love it...have fun

yes and no. I can explain. If you have a LOT of money and enjoy spending loads of it and don't mind being crowded and waiting in long lines. with the line thing there are around that. rent a wheel chair (the electric one) and you go to the front of the lines, you have to use the exit but what the hay! I am disabled and know that for a fact. however I would definatly talk to a cast member at Disney for off times and the best days when it is less crowded. also check florida websites for rain days BEFORE YOU GO or BOOK! it is very humid in Florida so have your wife get ION hair stariaghtener at Sally's it is wonderful it stops the frizzies.

I think it is $60-70 a person now to go to Disney.
However, think about how quickly you can waste that type of money doing next to nothing.
How much do you spend going bowling?
How much do you spend playing pool?
How much do you spend at the arcade?
How much do you spend playing miniature golf?
How much do you spend on a 2 hour movie?
Point is you can go to Disney and be entertained for 8-12 hours. How many things can you do with the entire family or group of people and spend $60-70 per person and be entertained? Not many things worth doing.
You also have to realize that if it was too cheap to go then you would have all sorts of riff raff going and they couldn't keep it as nice and safe as it is. Some times you have to charge higher prices to prevent certain people from going.

Oh, it is definitely worth it. There are 4 different parks plus 2 water parks. (I don't go to the water parks, that just isn't my thing-personal preference) Each of the 4 parks is unique from the others.
I don't get the park hopper as I spend the whole day at one park. the park hopper option allows you to go to one park for part of the day, then you can go to another park later in the same day. There is so much to do and see in each park, that I can't see "hopping" from park to park.
My advice is that no matter what you chose to do, spend one day at Magic Kingdom or an entire week going to each of the parks, just take your time and enjoy the things that you find. Don't rush from one attraction to the next, as Disney has many "hidden" treasures, from beautiful gardens to the details that make you feel like you really are in the old west when you visit Frontierland!
Most important is to enjoy yourself!

I`ve been to Disney Florida..the price is high but, you will truly enjoy the moment you step inside all 4 parks. Also try going to Sea world, Universal Studios and Bush Gardens in Tampa if you still got the time and money! Have fun and bring your camera!!!

Yes, it's absolutely worth it. You should go onto their website to research what rides are appropriate for your kids so you can hit all of the things you don't want to miss. I would also suggest taking in a Character Breakfast. It's cheaper than a Princess Brunch or Dinner and the kids will have a great time.

Get a Resort Package deal. I stayed at the Carribbean beach resort for 5 days, and it included all park admissions and transportation was free on the shuttles. Sorry I forget how much it was but you saved money not having to pay for individual park admissions.

Depends on the ages of your kids. Don't go if they're too young because they won't remember it. The first time I went, I was 6 and I can't only vaguely remember it. Admission is too high to pay for them to not remember anything about it. If they're old enough, yes it's worth it.
