I need to figure out this question 'What two chemicals combine to form a lipid?' but I don't exactly know what a chemical is.

Lipid is fat, which is made of one or more fatty acid tails (long hydrocarbon chains) and a polar head (ie glycerol)

Everything you see is made up from combinations of, or pure Chemicals. Lipids are fatty particles in your blood.
