Open you eyes and see the raw reality without any sugar coating. If you look at things through a rosey pair of glasses you might miss out on something.

Your question is about how we look. I think everybody is wearing glasses in relationship, it could be rosy or dim. That is the way we look, we are not looking objectively. We are looking with the use of our subjective conditioning that's why we cannot look directly to the objective or raw reality. I think it is important for everybody to find out and understand the limited and conditioned knowledge that we accumulated, then we can proceed to see the raw reality.

just wanna say...individuals make up the society...

depends on whether the raw reality would affect people much... if you wear rosey galsses, you can live happily and ignore what's really going on, but the raw reality will affect you in the end...

The world we live in is hard and will beat you down if you allow it. By looking at things through rose colored glasses you are only fooling yourself into thinking that things are better than they are. This is the time when the world comes crashing down on you forcing you to realize the true nature of your life.
Depression sets in and your life spirals out of control very quickly.

The flower is there. It's up to us to bend down and smell it. Wearing rosy glasses takes conscious effort; so a reality could be shaped. Otherwise, the flower stays un-smelled, as a raw reality.

Hopefully, a good mix of both are adopted to balance out the short falls. People could not live on empty optimism, nor could they live day in day out in the stress of pessimism.
