You are right things are looking very iffy for the Tigers. They are reeling and if they don't starting winning soon they could be looking at the wild card or even no postseason. The have 3 games left against the White Sox in Chicago which could be very crucial. I like the Twins, Tigers and White Sox and I know all 3 can't make it into the playoffs. The Twins are looking very good for a serious postseason run.

It is too bad Santana can't pitch every day! But if they make it to the playoffs, maybe he and Liriano could pull what the D-Backs didd a few years back in the Series. Remember when Schilling and Johnson pitched every game?

They are still in 1st place.
Even though The Tigers have been struggling lately, it's good to get this slump out of the way now. Rather than slump during the playoffs.
I actually respect The Twins, and they way they baseball.
If I were a whinny sux fan I'd be scared and worried (and probably be crying too)
Either way (division leader or wild card) The Tigers still make the playoffs.
It's the whinny sux that stay home!!!!!

the tigers are still in the lead however it doesn't matter who wins the division because both teams will be in the playoffs. when fancisco liriano comes back, him and santana could be the best 1-2 punch in all of major league baseball. i must remind you the twins bats have gone to sleep off and on all year. it looks like they are peeking led by mauer, moreau, etc.
this will be one heck of a playoff with the yankees and the A's joing them!

I agree, the Twins are coming for sure. I think if Liriano can have an impact they may have a legitimate chance at the AL Central crown.
