No. In general the pacific northwest has a low bug problem, esp compared to the rest of the country.

You will find some spiders, and flies in the summer, perhaps wasps, but they aren't a huge problem at all. If you keep a clean house, have screens on your windows and doors, you will have very very few problems at all. Even outdoors they aren't generally problematic.

I've lived in Salem, Oregon but visited Eugene a few times and didn't find bugs to be a problem.
I mean, every where there's bugs, but Eugene ( or the NW in general) doesn't have that much.

Not that I've noticed. In fact, I've been across this whole country, and I find that Oregon and Washington have very few bugs compared with many other states, especially the midwest. The only real annoying bugs are misquitos in waterlogged places and bees.
